About
In 1993, shortly after the first popular web browser Mosaic was released, Amy built a website for her employer. It contained 5-10 pages about the company and product information. As the company grew, the website expanded to more than 600 pages with a more complex navigation to move between them.
Today Amy comes full circle and is back to basics. Her motto is to keep it simple, because on the Web nothing stays the same very long. You need a light suitcase to travel the rapid changes and utilize newer tools to improve user experience.
Amy is currently a full-time graduate student at San José State University School of Library and Information Science. Her goal is to combine librarianship with her information management expertise to help information services and libraries build and manage positive user experiences on and off the Internet.
The name Arosheaf consists of her initials and "sheaf." Sheaf means a kind of bundle. When web resources are bundled right, users receive relevant information just when they need it.
