About
In 1993 when the first popular web browser Mosaic was released, Amy built a site for her employer. It contained a few pages about the company and product information. Over the ensuing years, as the company expanded, the site grew to hundreds of pages with more complex navigation.
Today Amy comes full circle and is back to basics. Her motto is to keep it simple, because on the Web nothing stays the same very long. You need a light suitcase to travel the rapid changes and utilize newer tools to improve user experience.
Currently, she is a student at San José State University in their Master of Library and Information Science program to enhance her expertise and help libraries build and manage positive end-user experiences both on and off the Web.
The name Arosheaf consists of her initials and "sheaf." Sheaf means a kind of bundle. When web resources are bundled right, users receive the right information when they need it.
